Joint Action on Vaccination (EU-JAV) (2018-2022)
EU-JAV started in September 2018 and will run until March 2022 with an aim to strengthen the cooperation between European countries to fight vaccine-preventable diseases. Its objective is to deliver and share concrete tools for stronger national responses to vaccination challenges such as vaccine hesitancy.
EU-JAV involves 20 European countries, the European Commission and several other stakeholders such as the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) Europe, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Standing Committee of European Doctors (CPME). The joint action is coordinated by the French National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Inserm). The work is structured in eight work packages:
WP1: Coordination
WP2: Dissemination
WP3: Evaluation
WP4: Integration in National Policies and Sustainability
WP5: Immunisation Information Services to Strengthen Surveillance of Vaccine Coverage
WP6: Vaccine Supply and Preparedness
WP7: Vaccine Research and Development Priority-Setting Framework
WP8: Vaccine Hesitancy and Uptake
CPME is a member of the stakeholder forum of the joint action. Please find the EU-JAV website here.
