Irish Alcohol Bill welcomed as a ground-breaking measure by the European health community

On 17 October 2018, the Irish Public Health (Alcohol) Bill was signed into law by Michael D. Higgins, the President of Ireland. The new Bill presents a set of measures to prevent alcohol related harm, including cancer warnings on the labels.
